Cory is currently a doctoral student at the UM School of Information, working under a NSF IGERT grant to study Sociotechnical Infrastructure of Electronic Transactions (STIET). His multidisciplinary background combines aspects of business management, intellectual property, statistical modeling, social network analysis, complex systems, and information economics.
He is currently working with Dean John King and Professor Jeff Mackie-Mason, looking at intellectual property as a network good and the incentives needed for scientific innovators to contribute to the newly established Science Commons. Cory is also a graduate degree candidate in the Department of Statistics and the Center for the Study of Complex Systems.
