Chicago's events have been announced! From the planning committee:

We are pleased to announce that the Chicago event's 2006 opening keynote speaker will be Don Norman, co founder of Nielsen Norman group and professor, Northwestern University. In addition, we are extremely excited to have Patrick Whitney, Director of the Institute of Design, IIT, be the event's closing speaker.
Last year, World Usability Day was celebrated by over 8000 participants at 115 events in 70 cities in 35 countries. More specifically, in Chicago , our "It Makes $ense" event served as a focusing lens for building momentum within the local User Experience community.

The details about the Chicago event, are really good and specially about the World Usability Day,which is a usercentric perspective and looking beyond form and function, we are exploring the impact design has on our World,so main thing is to approach the people,so a great day this is and feels beautiful to celebrate,s great event this is.
